GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS The California State Education Department is constantly striving to raise the quality of education by requiring mastery of the learning standards. Mastery will be reflected by the earning of a high school diploma. In order to graduate from high school in the Palos Verdes Unified School District, students must complete the requirements listed on the left and described below.

California High School Exit Exam 225 Credits Subject requirements

HIGH SCHOOL EXIT EXAMINATION Beginning with the Class of 2006, students must pass both sections of the California High School Exit Examination. Mathematics English Language

CREDIT REQUIREMENT Five credits are granted for the completion of each semester of coursework. To satisfy the credit requirement for graduation, students must earn 225 credits.
