Audit a Class
Students may elect to take classes
classes for AUDIT with the teacher's permission. The deadline for taking advantage of this option
is one week after the distribution of the quarter grade report. It is the student's responsibility to
obtain the proper form in the Counseling
Center and secure the proper signatures. Students must submit the completed
form prior to the deadline. Once granted the option is irrevocable. Students who are struggling in a
class often opt to audit rather than drop the class or receive a "D" or "F" grade. By auditing a class,
the student has the opportunity to continuing learning without penalty of grade. The student is better
prepared when repeating the class for a grade. The teacher's and counselor's recommendations are key to the
success of an audit.
