Western Horsemanship is a type of
equitation class, like Stock
Seat Equitation and
Hunter Seat
Equitation. This class is
judged on how well the horse and rider work together. This
class is a flat class with a short, but difficult, pattern
that includes stops, spins, and other movements. It is
judged 50% on rail work and 50% on pattern work. Western
Horsemanship is a western discipline.
