A NOTE FROM JODY PASTELL
The Third Grade Play was spectacular. All of the students truly enjoyed this experience. Thank you to one and all who helped make the play become a reality. The teachers' hours of hard work and planning are also greatly appreciated.

This week we begin our celebration of cultures. "The World's In Our Corner" will be the theme for the week. I look forward to seeing all of our Cornerstone families Friday, May 19th at 5:30 in the evening.

For Your Information:

  • Parking at the end of the Cornerstone parking lot makes it difficult for delivery trucks to get through. Please be careful not to block the end driveway.
  • Only teachers and parents should be using the microwave to heat food items.
  • Our Cornerstone phone bill has been higher than usual. Please avoid 411 or long distance calls. If you need to make a long distance call, let me know.
  • Did you know that Danny Mellert, Christina Lawrence, Andrew Curcio, Graham Bentz, and Brittany Ramsey were all caught doing something good. They will be celebrating by having a lunch of their choice with the principal on Monday, 5/15.
  • 5/16 There will be a special JAVA in the patio area at 1:30 to discuss the use of the cafeteria area for next year and the school of attendance for Cornerstone students in Intermediate grades.
  • Mark your calendars---Thursday, May 25th is a minimum day for grades 1-5 and a whole group day for DK-K.
  • On Thursday, May 18th we will be having a special JAVA from 9-10 in the morning to speak with Mr. John Letcher from Miraleste regarding the intermediate school. I hope that you will all make it to the coffee!

Have a great week!
