Here are the habitats we are studying. The Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy is conducting a special program for our 3rd grade classes teaching them about our local habitat. The children have been participating in a series of four classroom lessons about our native flora and fauna. The lessons will culminated in a nature hike on February 29th. The hike took place within walking distance of Cornerstone school. Have a look at what we learned and saw on the Field Trip. Here is a list of the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy's scheduled walks that are held throughout the year for the general public. There are two special Children's Walks each year that are designed especially for children.
